![]() I saw someone puzzled that it didn't unlock in The Arks scenario. Lastly, place the steam hub where it would affect the most buildings. Starting at the edge, build a sort of "pizza slice" of housing towards the generator. Check your economy panel and if necessary, disable or demolish housing until people move into the heated buildings.Īs for getting the placement right, I found it best done when you have lots of wood in A New Home or maybe The Refugees. I've seen many people fail to realize that the achievement literally requires you to have 300 people living in the heat zone of a single steam hub. You shouldn't have access to any "harsh abilities" since you don't pass the relevant laws in the first place. If you limit yourself to those, it should be fine. I passed the following laws: Sustain Life, Extra Rations for the Ill, Cemetery, Ceremonial Funerals, Care House, Prosthetics, House of Prayer, Shrines, Field Kitchens, Evening Prayers, The Temple. I eventually managed to unlock this, and I still don't know how. What matters is what soon after, you're told to go find missing groups of people in the frozen wastes. Don't worry about escorting them, since you don't even have time to build a beacon before they show up. Right at the start, new people will arrive. Neither the description nor any "guide" I've seen tells you this is for The Refugees scenario. It's fairly easy after that to mop up the remainder with your order or faith building abilities. This causes most Londoners to change their minds and stay. The fourth time, you get the option to have them listen to you. When a Londoner starts riling people up, let him speak three times. Totally worth doing, especially on higher difficulty. So I wanted to post a bit about these achievements, in case anyone finds it useful. Much of the information I came across was outright false, misleading or bogged down with extraneous details. The only variant I still have to try is to reject only one group of lords, so that'll be my next try. Some achievements have less than helpful descriptions, one or two are bugged but obtainable, and others have curiously low completion rates despite not being difficult. I've managed to get achievements for Winterhome (Iron man,>! full dreadnought!< and all kids to dreadnought), but I've beaten again Refugees hard from scratch and it doesn't unlock. Is there something tricky that is not included in the description? Do I have to get an specific ending? Or the achievement is just bugged?Įdit: I don't know what do anymore. However, I've beaten Refugees Hard at least three times (I think one time even with no deaths because I dind't built a burial site/snow pit and I never had any prompt asking me to do so, but I'm not sure anymore) but the achievement doesn't unlock no matter what I do. Thank you all for all the tips and knowledge you've been sharing in this sub, they've helped me improving my game and allowed me to get some of the Iron Man achievements. I've tried to get it so many times that now I can finish this scenario without even thinking about what I'm doing, lol. ![]() I lost all my prior saves, and I had to finish New Home to unlock the other scenarios, but finally it popped up after beating it one more time!!! W10 here, so I deleted the Frostpunk app, reseted the store and started a new game from scratch. After checking that I could get other Frostpunk achievements (I even got Refugees survivor before this one!), I followed the steps shown here:
